Tea Princess Return & Restocking Policy

At Tea Princess each piece is designed with love and produced in small, limited runs. We aren’t a big chain — every dress is special and made in small batches to keep them unique. Because of this, returns can have a big impact on us as a small business.

That said, we want you to feel delighted with your purchase, so here’s how our returns work:

🌸 Returns

You may return any full-price item within 7 days of receiving your order for a refund or store credit.

Items must be in mint condition — unworn, unused, with all tags and original packaging intact.

🌼 Restocking Fee

For returns over AUD $350 in a single order, a 5% restocking fee will apply. This fee helps cover the costs of carefully checking, steaming, re-packaging, and re-listing limited-run items.

If you choose store credit instead of a refund, the restocking fee will be waived — we want you to find something you love.

🌺 Non-returnable Items

Sale items and accessories such as underwear cannot be returned.

🌷 Refunds & Exchanges

Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect the item.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for return shipping.

Exchanges are possible if the requested item is available; otherwise, we’ll issue a refund or store credit. 

• For an exchange please also let us know if you are providing a prepaid satchel for your exchange OR would you prefer us to invoice you for the new freight charge ($10 for standard shipping/ $15 for express post shipping).

 

🌟 Why We Do This

As a boutique label with small production runs, we simply don’t have the volume of stock that large retailers do. Restocking fees help us continue creating our dreamy dresses while still offering flexibility for our customers. If your return is due to a faulty or incorrect item, of course we’ll cover everything and ensure no fees apply.

The goods are your responsibility until they reach our office, so make sure it’s packed up properly and can’t get damaged on the way.
